The Fun in FUNdraising

We are proud announce that our client, Runway To Hope has been chosen for the second year as the beneficiary of the annual Champagne Brunch & Fashion Event at the Mall at Millenia on September 11, 2011. In addition to some fabulous food, drink, and couture runway outfits, George Kotsiopoulos of E! Fashion Police will be hosting the event.

Not only is style guru George Kotsiopoulos a magazine editor, consultant, and stylist, he also styles fashion icons such as Kristen Stewart, Katy Perry, Anne Hathaway, Courtney Cox Arquette and Heidi Klum. He’s currently style editor for C magazine and formerly a fashion associate at The New York Times Magazine, where he produced photo shoots with Julia Roberts, Salma Hayek, Gwen Stefani and more. If he looks familiar, it’s because you’ve seen him on E! News, the Style Network, Access Hollywood and Good Morning America.

This event is part of The Mall at Millenia’s Fashion Week and is annually awarded to a charity or cause that benefits from the increased awareness and funds raised.

Besides an absolutely delicious brunch, there will be a fall fashion show with runway presentations by the The Mall at Millenia’s fabulous luxury stores including Chanel, David Yurman, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Neiman Marcus, Rolex, St. John, Tiffany & Co. and Tory Burch.

After the show, guests will be able to mingle with host George Kotsiopoulos while enjoying champagne and deserts in their favorite Millenia  stores. Each one has created a special in-store activity and is offering an auction item in support of the cause. Plus, The Mall at Millenia will donate 10% of all event sales in participating stores to Runway To Hope.

All funds generated will be applied to Runway To Hope’s family assistance program, which supports the total care of families’ emotional, financial and any other needs that have resulted from pediatric cancer. Runway To Hope will evenly distribute funds to the Give Hope Foundation, The Benji Watson Cancer Foundation and the Palliative Care Programs at Florida Hospital for Children and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
