The EVENTful Weekend for TCF Marketing & Events

TCF Marketing & Events had an EVENTful weekend! We kicked off the 2-day “event-a-thon” early Saturday morning at the first annual Martha Sugalski Camp Boggy Creek Challenge Ride in Eustis, Florida. It wasn’t even 7 a.m. yet and over 210 bicyclists were gathered around the Boggy Creek Gang Theater. While this venue typically serves as a getaway and creative outlet for hundreds of seriously ill children every summer, today it was full of cyclists, volunteers, media and an undeniable buzz of excitement. Of course the party really got started with the arrival of the ride’s namesake and WESH 2 anchor Martha Sugalski who, even at 7 o’ clock on a Saturday morning, did not disappoint her reigning title of “Best Hair,” issued by Orlando Weekly’s Best of Orlando 2011. Sugalski and her husband started and completed the ride together along with the hundreds of other fellow riders who enjoyed sharing the road with Martha as well as getting to know her a little bit better. The ride itself was a huge success, raising over $140,000 for Central Florida’s seriously ill children and immeasurable awareness about the camp.

WATERMAK-George-Kotsiopoulos-RTH-Fall-Brunch-200x300Sunday morning called for more fundraising as TCF Marketing & Events, Inc. proudly executed the Runway To Hope Champagne Brunch Fashion Event at Orlando’s premier fashion destination, The Mall at Millenia. About 430 guests gathered for a delicious brunch, fabulous fashion show and top-notch shopping to support the cause of pediatric cancer. Host George Kotsiopoulos, co-host of E! Fashion Police and stylist to the stars, displayed his fashion sense as he introduced fall collection runway presentations by the The Mall at Millenia’s most fabulous boutiques including Chanel, David Yurman, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Neiman Marcus, Rolex, St. John, Tiffany & Co. and Tory Burch. This Orlando event proved to be both fashionable and profitable for Runway To Hope who will use the funds to directly help families affected by childhood cancer.

A weekend of great events, great causes and a great amount of dollars raised all containing the TCF Marketing & Events thumbprint. We are feeling proud and fulfilled this week as we reflect on a weekend of doing what we do best while doing good for the community.

For TCF Marketing & Events, it’s on to the next big Orlando event….
